scooting

yup, behind as per usual in the posting, but hey, i'm working on it. been thinking hard about many things around here lately. and thinking is so hard to begin with sometimes.
any-who...
we all know why you guys are here, so let's deliver on the zoe news already!

she moves - ALL THE TIME! it's pretty exciting.

when we get home from work it's basically an hour straight of playing and belly laughs. she loves chasing people or being chased. and those belly laughs are soooo awesome - i'm trying to get a really good one recorded. zoe still loves her music, and dancing to it. she's definitely figured out words have meaning now, and identify with an object. you can ask her where something is and she'll look for it. this is especially fun if lola is barking outside and you ask where lola is. zoe listens for a while, then crawls at lightning speed towards the back door. we think she's said a few words - lola, ball, dad, dog. she's definitely signed dad once. and milk once, though she was aiming at me and she'd already eaten so wasn't hungry (i'm not too happy she thinks my name is milk, but whatever, i'll take what i can get). she much prefers feeding herself to being fed. she's refusing most of her bottles at daycare these days, though she takes them at home, so who knows what's going on there. since we're first-timers, i called the doctor of course. as long as she's getting 15 - 20 oz or so of bmilk a day she should be fine. and she is, cause we're still on the two-feeding-before-work and two-after-work schedule. though now (get this!) she'll actually go back to sleep IN HER CRIB after the first feeding! yipee!!! (i'm sure i've just horribly jinxed myself and kyle - sigh)
isn't it pretty?
now i have two....
who's that behind the camera?found you, mom!
