Today is the running of the AT&T Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. We have several friends running the 1/2 Marathon, and were intending to go out and cheer them on, but little did we know the marathon itself was scheduled through our neighborhood, making it a bit difficult to get out! Lola, Sophie, and I cheered on the marathon runners at our local coffee shop, Thunderbird Coffee House, along with many other supporters and a band set up in their parking lot. We were able to see the lead male and female runners. Congratulations to all our friends who put their mind to it, training for and finishing the 1/2 marathon!
Meanwhile, in more dour news from Wired:
